it really depends on when you are planning your vacation. if you visit the bahamas in the low season, (like when everyone goes back to school in august september, or even oct.

And nov), you are more likely to find what you are looking for. but i’m sure there are awesome deals right now.

If you go during hurricane season and such when fewer tourists are there, you should see lower rates.
I’d say you’re not going to find anything that cheap on Paradise Island.

If you can deal with taking a ferry or going over the bridge from New Providence, I’d say you’ll have better luck t

I highly doubt you’ll find anything for that price on Paradise Island. It’s a small, expensive island, so rooms will be at a premium.

Try the Comfort Suites on Paradise Island – right next door to the Atlantis.

Not on paradise Island. . For sure. The Bahamas is one of the most expensive Islands to visit.

You might try Quality Inn in Nassau, Towne Hotel, Grand Hotel or Arawak Inn.

These are budget properties, not on the beach, with limited amenities.

If you are looking for something a little better, there’s a Red Roof Inn (not on the water either) or El Grecos for bit more $$.

On the beach. . .

You’re gonna pay upwards of $200 per nite even off season.

Be aware, that ALL properties add an add’l 12% gov’t tax, Mandatory Gratuities and other surcharges. . Usually adding about $20-25 per nite even for the lowest room rate.

Besides high room rates, food and drink is higher in the bahamas that most other islands. . Paradise Island even higher than Nassau and surrounding areas.

My suggestion is to look into the Dominican Republic or Mexico for cheap accomodations.
